Effective September 29, 2026. These terms cover App Usage for Jira (Lens), provided under the BrightNetworks brand.
Service
App Usage for Jira helps Jira administrators understand app and site activity through aggregated dashboards. It estimates visits, sessions, and time from browser observations. These figures are approximate and should not be used as a billing, attendance, productivity, or compliance record.
Administration and collection
You must be authorized to install and administer apps on the Jira site. Live Collection starts off and requires an administrator to turn it on. Your organization is responsible for deciding whether collection is appropriate, informing its users where required, and configuring app recognition rules accurately. You may turn collection off in app settings.
Subscription and access
Paid subscriptions and trials are managed through Atlassian Marketplace and Atlassian’s billing process. The applicable price and subscription terms are shown by Atlassian before purchase. The app requires an active license or trial for dashboard access and new collection. If a license becomes inactive, collection is paused and the dashboard is unavailable until entitlement is restored.
Data and privacy
We process usage and contact data as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive Jira issue content through the contact form.
Availability and changes
We may update the app to maintain security, reliability, and compatibility with Jira and Forge. Service availability can be affected by Atlassian and other infrastructure providers. We do not promise that estimates are complete or exact. Any warranties or liability limits apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and any agreement that governs your Marketplace purchase.
